How To Video: Control your Xbox 360 with an iPhone

The iOS update to the My Xbox Live app has given the iPhone the ability to control an Xbox 360. Here's how to set it up.

The same home network that's really easy to do. So the first thing you're gonna wanna do you. Is let your Xbox be available on the home network for control you going to system settings console settings and then you're gonna wanna go down. Two Xbox companion. To make that available. And then your iPhone should be able to detect the Xbox on your home network you can then tell them my Xbox Live -- To connect to the Xbox. She get a pop up. So once everything's connected and you've got the companion notification. On screen will be a -- Xbox controller and can use it to start scrolling through besides. Menu. It's pretty cool very easy to complete. Unfortunately you can't use it on iPod Touch or an iPad for whatever reason only works with the iPhone. And you're not really gonna wanna play any video -- with the on screen controller because lets be honest it's nothing like using a real Xbox controller.
