First Look: Brew big or small with the Keurig K500 coffee maker1:30 /
Priced at $189.99, the Keurig K500 brews big carafes of coffee or tiny single servings from pre-packaged cups.
[MUSIC] Hey guys, it's Brian Bennett for CNet and I'm here taking a First Look at the new Keurig K500 coffee machine and this is part of the new Keurig 2.0 system for carrying coffee and there's a lot of new features that come with it. New systems, essentially, you'll be able to not only brew individual single cup servings, like the one here in a little cup like this. So you can also brew a big Keraft using a larger cup, like the one I have here. So it can brew anywhere from two ounces of coffee to 30 ounces. All the features that the K500 and the Keurig 2.0 Brewing System brings to table is the ability to control the brewing time as well as the amount of water that you'll be brewing. So, you can have a flavor profile that's very strong if you brew it longer or you can have something that's more mellow. And that'll basically use a lower brewing time, and also a lower or higher brewing temperature, depending on what you wanna do. Right now they're telling us that the Keurig V500 Brewing Machine will be available for under $200 and that should hit the market by Fall of 2014. I'm Bryan Bennet for cnet.com and we've just taken an a first look at the Keurig 2.0 Brewing System, and the the K500 brewer. [MUSIC]
