I'm Dan Ackerman and we are here taking a look at the -- -- -- 33.
This is a new thirteen inch laptop from -- news.
And that's most notable feature is that the bank of the lid and the wrist rest and touch pad -- all covered with a layer of -- --
Making this one of the only would recovered laptop that we've seen and certainly a very nice break from kind of a glossy black plastic reader and brushed chromium metal that we've --
I'm pretty much any of the laptop ever made.
Beyond that you're gonna find a fairly standard thirteen inch laptop it's got an Intel Core two processor which puts it fairly firmly in that that basic -- category.
In fact this costs about the same 999.
There -- a bunch of industry tech features in the -- you 33 --
I first a look at Intel wireless display technology and it's also got Nvidia 310 and graphics card.
They -- say wait a minute.
You can't use an Intel wireless display and discrete Nvidia graphics that card in the same not have that work.
Well fortunately -- Grand -- -- work around it has the Nvidia optimist technology.
Which turns that 310 and graphics are -- on -- needed when it's off.
The system just default to the integrated Intel graphics and that's what works with the wireless displaced if you wanna use wireless display.
Obviously happy running -- the more a low power integrated Intel graphics.
And of course assumes as a -- what its proprietary oss software apps on here as well including the super hybrid engine that the power management tool that lets you -- some power -- so we gets more battery life.
And they have cool looking controlled -- kind of -- system options and puts them up any kind of 3-D space that scrolls into the foreground if you check each other very cool looking not -- we actually use this on a regular basis.
The most surprising thing about this laptop however is what it lacks very pretty standard looking thirteen it's laptop that's standard size standard way.
It's missing an optical drive which is -- private.
-- certainly not an old for older consistently had Dell Adamo XPS or even that book and we're makes that you wouldn't have an optical drive in fact.
They managed to work drive into the Toshiba Arthur avenue five and other virtues -- up which is a little bit smaller a little bit -- -- this one.
-- -- being said.
I can't -- lifetime I actually use an Apple driver anything's if you think you can get along without it.
Having the Intel wireless display and the discrete -- in here at the same time alone with obviously the cool would exterior. Jeff we'll all be pluses.
