Running Window 8 RT, the new Vivo Tab RT weighs under 1.2 pounds and packs Microsoft's latest software.

-Hey guys, this is Brian Bennett for CNET.com and right now we are at AT&T's launch event in New York taking a look at the Asus Vivo Tab RT. Now as you can tell this device is running Windows 8 RT which is the lighter version of Windows 8 that is designed for tablets and as you can tell, it's got a tile interface here, very touch friendly and it seems very smooth, very responsive and also it has a very sleek design, it's very thin and one thing that's also noticeable about the Asus Vivo Tab RT is that it's very light. It's actually under, just under 1.2 pounds which makes it very easy to hold. I can imagine reading with it. We don't know when this device is gonna ship but it should be available hopefully by the holiday season and no pricing has been said but we do know that it will be, it'll to connect to AT&T's 4g LTE network for fast data access. This is gonna the first look at the Asus Vivo Tab RT, check back for a full review at CNET.com.
