How To Video: 10 hidden controls of the iPhone headphones

The iPhone headphones (or any headphones with a mic and remote) can control your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch in up to 10 different ways.

-- It's never too late to find out that the Apple headphones that came with your iPhone can do a lot more than adjust the volume. So after seeing a handy slide show about all these cool functions on business insider I thought I'd share them with you and video. And it by the way you can use all these tricks with an iPod or iPad hunt with any other third party headphones I have -- -- -- remote with these three buttons. Okay let's start with the basics if you're listening to a song you can toggle pause or play by topping -- about one's. To fast for a song tap the middle button twice and long press on the second -- To re -- a song top three times and long press on the third tap. -- -- it's gonna be dishonest. To skip a song -- double tap. -- to go to a previous song that triple tap. Okay here's a commonly used one if you have an incoming call -- -- answer and when you're done it -- wants to hang up. You can also ignoring incoming call by long pressing the middle button -- -- to -- to confirm that that person was sent to voicemail. Now if you're on the phone and get a new call -- the center button once to switch calls. To hang up on that new call hold the middle button down for two seconds. Here is one of my favorites you can achieve super steady shots using headphones as a shutter -- -- Just frame the shot and tap the volume up button to take the photo. Okay one last one -- -- iPhone four S owners you can activate Siri by -- long pressing the center button. Then go on and -- -- command.
