Reward the graduate in your life with the gift of technology. Whether they're moving on to college or the working world, these gadget gift suggestions are sure to please. CNET's Kara Tsuboi reports in this Tech Minute.

A great gift for graduates of any ages: a tablet or e-reader. These days, they come in all sizes and price points, but CNET editors recommend either the iPad for the most functionality or the Nexus 7 for its petite size and reasonable $200 price tag. For standalone e-readers, you can't beat the Kindle Paperwhite. The built-in light is great for late-night study sessions or long commutes. Whether your graduate is moving onto a college dorm room or first apartment, size will most likely be limited. That's why CNET editors suggest the compact Roku 3 for a space-saving home entertainment system. Graduates will enjoy streaming media for more than 750 channels and you'll love its teeny price tag of $99. Finally, it's not cheap, but the Apple MacBook Air will sure to please any recent graduate. Clocking in at nearly $1200, the Air boasts extreme portability due to its lightweight design, an improved webcam, and a decent battery life.
