Onkyo TX-NR626
REVIEW

Onkyo TX-NR626

Onkyo's TX-NR626 is a value-packed AV receiver with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even a turntable input, but it's just short of being our top pick.

Marantz NR 1504

Marantz has introduced two new slimline AV receivers, while keeping last year's $400 NR1403 in the line.

Onkyo TX-NR414
REVIEW

Onkyo TX-NR414

The Onyko TX-NR414 offers the best AV receiver value for those with a tight budget, although the step-up TX-NR515 model is worth the extra cash if you can afford it.

Sony STR-DN1020

The Sony STR-DN1020 isn't a bad AV receiver, but it lags behind its competitors in just about every attribute we consider important.

Onkyo TX-NR609

The Onkyo TX-NR609 is an exciting, well-connected, 3D-compatible AV receiver that bristles with features, including Internet radio and support for Spotify Premium. It's something of a belter.

REVIEW

Pioneer VSX-1021-K

Pioneer's VSX-1012-K is an excellent AV receiver with built-in AirPlay and top-notch sound quality, but Denon's AVR-1912 is just a little better.

Sony BDV-E370
REVIEW

Sony BDV-E370

The Sony BDV-E370 is not a bad piece of kit if you can get it for closer to £300 than £500. 3D is a great bonus and we did like most of the features of this home cinema system. Sound wasn't perfect but, for smaller rooms, it's pretty reasonable.

Onkyo TX-NR5007
REVIEW

Onkyo TX-NR5007

The Onkyo TX-NR5007 is certainly expensive, but it competes with other companies' products that cost much more. Incredibly powerful, it retains its audio fidelity no matter how hard you drive it. It's ideally suited to people with dedicated home-cinema rooms, plenty of space and a video projector, but it's also wonderful in smaller rooms -- just don't turn the volume up too high, as we suspect it can demolish walls
