LAS VEGAS--Canon piggybacks on this morning's PowerShot N announcement with the introduction of four new Pixma inkjet printers. Flaunting larger-than-average duty cycles and shipped with high-capacity ink cartridges, the Pixma MX392, MX452, MX522, and MX922 all-in-ones all deliver copy, scan, and print functions for individuals and large work groups.

Canon focuses on professional media handling on these devices, combining stationary wireless printing with Google Cloud Printing for the mobile crowd, not to mention compatibility with the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint app for Android and iOS devices that lets users forgo a standalone digital camera for a Web-connected smartphone.

Standing at the top of the list is the MX922 ($199.99), with dual paper input trays that fold neatly into the machine for easy access and modular storage. The 250-sheet cassette tray, 35-page autodocument feeder (ADF) up top, and PictBridge USB port onboard are useful for daily printing, and PowerShot N owners can also connect to the MX922 through the embedded wireless LAN print server.

The MX522 ($149.99) and MX452 ($99.99) wireless printers both have a 30-page ADF for scanning large stacks of documents or photos, and most of your interaction with the device will be via the aptly sized 2.5-inch LCD display on the front.

Speaking of fronts, this series is the second generation of Canon printers to use a new method for loading new ink cartridges. The company calls it FastFront, and it lets you simply pull down a door behind the paper output tray to expose the inks. The new method makes cartridge replacement easier for people who leave documents in the top-loading ADF, as you no longer have to lift up the entire scanner lid in the process.

Offices on a budget will want to take a closer look at the Canon Pixma MX392 ($79.99), an affordable compact inkjet with the same 30-page ADF, but with a monochrome LCD display instead of a color one. You can easily pair this printer with a host computer using a simple USB cable in a hardline connection, but with no wireless options available on this model, this one is best for individuals with a home office.

All the aforementioned models are available now.
