Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is set to speak at the upcoming 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Consumer Electronics Association, which puts on the annual tech conference, announced Tuesday that Mayer will deliver a keynote address at CES as part of its Tech Titans series. Mayer is slated to speak at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7.
While we don't know exactly what Mayer will choose to talk about, the CEA describes the Tech Titans series as a chance for "CEOs from the most powerful companies in technology [to] present their vision for products, services and networks that will shape the next wave of innovation." Other keynote speakers in the series include Intel's Brian Krzanich, Audi's Rupert Stadler, Sony's Kazuo Hirai, and Cisco Systems' John Chambers.
Since taking over the top spot at Yahoo in 2012, Mayer has been working to remake the company. Yahoo has made more thanduring her tenure, and it earlier this year. But despite a new look and new products, Mayer to turn itself around after a disappointing third quarter.
CES 2014 will feature more than 3,200 exhibitors, and CEA Chief Executive Gary Shapirothat 20,000 new products will launch at the show. Microsoft is also in 2014 after taking a year off from the tech show.
CES 2014 officially runs from January 7 to January 10 in Las Vegas, but events for the show tend to kick off several days in advance.
