White Nexus 4 back in stock, but you'd better hurry

You can buy a white Nexus 4 again, this time from Expansys. But better hurry, stock is very limited...

The white version of the Google Nexus 4 smart phone is back on sale in the UK, but if you want one, you'd better get your skates on.

Expansys lists the white version as in stock, though it says it only has between one and five of them. Expect them to go like the proverbial hot cakes.

The white Nexus 4 isn't being sold through Google Play in the UK -- the site lists it as "no longer available for sale" -- and a quick search throws up eBay as the only other place you can get your hands on one in this country. Expansys lists its stock as "the EU version", supplied with an EU plug and a UK AC adaptor.

Expansys is charging a little more. The 16GB model costs £310, which is £30 more than the standard black one, or the white one that was offered through Google Play. An 8GB Nexus 4 is also available for the staggeringly cheap price of £240.

We first heard about the white Nexus 4 back in November last year, when TalkTalk put it up for pre-order . It took a while to find its way here, though. A leaked pic of it appeared at the end of January, then it finally went on sale at the end of May . And then only a few people were lucky enough to snaffle one up.

The Nexus 4 had its fair share of teething problems. Demand was so high that Google kept running out of the device . Sure, you could buy it from a network, but you'd have to pay more . It's still one of the best smart phones around, with a cracking screen and phenomenal price tag.

Did you get your hands on a white Nexus 4? Would you like to see more of them made available? Is it still the best bargain around? Let me know in the comments, or on our Facebook page.
