Apple refreshed its lineup of iMac desktop computers this morning to include faster CPUs and an improved graphics chip for games and video editing. The new computers also support larger hard drives (and even solid-state drives) with a higher capacity SDXC card slot for your media and start at $1,199.
Apple also announced athat offer up to 12 cores and Turbo Boost, a technology that can deliver even higher processor speeds. And the company unveiled a to complement the new system.

The other big news coming out of California is Comic-Con 2010, and CNET's own Molly Wood waded through the sea of geeks to get the scoop for a special episode of.
The three of us are most excited about the cast of the new "Avengers" movie, to be directed by Joss Whedon of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fame. The entire cast of "The Avengers" assembled at a special panel at the show and include Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo replacing Ed Norton as the Hulk, and Robert Downey Jr. will obviously reprise his role as Iron Man.
