The dual-core Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and Tab 3 10.1-inch slates with Jelly Bean now have prices.
How much will the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablets cost? The first prices have been revealed for the dual-core Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch slates, complete with Android Jelly Bean and brand new features from the.
There are three Tab 3 tablets: three dual-core slates, two of which have high-definition screens. The first two sport a 7-inch and an 8-inch screen -- challenging the likes of the and -- and the third a 10.1-inch screen -- rivalling the iPad.
All three run the latest version of Android, 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Ready for some prices? Courtesy of Dutch online shop Tablet Center, the 7-inch model is listed at a very reasonable €200, although it has specs to match, including a 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.
The 8-inch model is on sale for €300, and the 10-inch model will set you back €380 -- although the Dutch shop is knocking a few euros off, so the price is currently €330.
I'm going to take a punt and say we can probably switch the euro sign for a pound sign to get a rough idea of potential British prices for the new tablets, but full details are yet to be officially confirmed.
The 8-inch Tab 3 packs a 1.5GHz processor, while the larger model is powered by a 1.6GHz chip. There's a 5-megapixel camera on the back of the 8-inch model, while the other two have just a 3-megapixel camera.
The tablets also include features first seen on the Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone, including the clever S Translator lingo decoder, and WatchOn, which turns your tablet into a TV remote control.
Samsung promises a 3G, 4G, and vanilla Wi-Fi version of the Tab 3 series tablets. They hits shops "later this year".
