Playing dress-up with the iPhone

Urban clothing company LRG makes valiant attempt.

GeekSugar

As noted back in early May , we were shocked that it had taken so long for iPhone cases to begin showing up, some five months after it had been announced. But no sooner was that item printed that the floodgates began to open.

To date, however, most of the gadget-wear has been mundane to mediocre--hardly befitting the most celebrated consumer product launch in memory, if not history. So even if the latest case from urban apparel company LRG isn't exactly your taste, we think it's worthy of mention at least for an attempt at originality beyond the usual boringly predictable geek parameters.

As GeekSugar notes, it's not even made of rubber or plastic. That alone must set it apart from 99 percent of the rest of the cases out there.
