Lomography cameras go wild for Valentine's Day
Animal-themed film cameras would make an ideal gift for the hipster shutterbug.
With Valentine's Day less than two weeks away, love is definitely in the air--along with some manic gift-hunting on the part of nervous boyfriends (and perhaps some girlfriends, too).
We unearthed a line of limited-edition film cameras from Lomography just in time for February 14. These animal-themed Diana, Fisheye, and La Sardina film cameras would make an ideal gift for the hipster shutterbug.
We think that these shooters are definitely worth a look, being less cheesy than Lomography's previous Valentine's Day-themed Diana cameras.
This time, the medium format Diana F+ ($126) is draped in zebra print, while the 35mm Diana Mini ($141) has leopard spots.
The Fisheye No. 2 ($117) comes covered in a snakeskin design and shoots with a 170-degree angle of view.
The La Sardina wide-angle camera also puts on a serpentine-inspired skin. The blue version called "Sapphire Serpent" costs $86, while the orange "Orinco Ochre" is priced at $141 due to the bundled matching flash. (Speaking of Lomography's LaSardina cameras, be sure to check out this new "Virginia is for Lovers" edition.)
All of the above cameras are already available on the Lomography online store.
