eBay gives the world another Groupon

eBay adds daily deals to its extreme makeover, Sprint could be getting a big financial boost, and Photoset shares groups of photos with ease.

eBay made headlines Wednesday with a dramatic redesign , but it's not out of the spotlight yet. Today's tech news roundup looks at eBay's Lifestyle Deals, a service similar to Groupon. This holiday, Fab expects you to flock to its mobile shopping app. The young site is growing quickly, boasting nearly 8 million users . Fab features a new lineup of unique products every day and only sells them for a few days. It just pushed out updates to its apps and a new TV commercial.

Sprint could see a big financial boost from a backer in Japan. Sprint confirmed that it is negotiating with SoftBank , a Japanese mobile carrier, about a "substantial investment" in Sprint.

Over at Verizon, the Motorola Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD will be arriving next week , on Oct. 18.

Google has rolled out a major update to Street View . Google Maps added street-level images for 250,000 miles of road across 17 countries.

Facebook Gifts can be purchased through the Android app . Birthday or celebration alerts are popping up on news feeds with a link to buy that person a gift. Apple users will be able to buy gifts off the app in the coming weeks.

And better keep you eye on a new iOS app called Photoset. This photo-sharing tool is made by Tumblr, but you don't need a Tumblr account to use it. It allows users to share several photos at once to social networks through one URL.
