Domino's Pizza by TXT service is dangerously good

I don't even have to get out of a chair or speak to anyone to order my pizzas now. This can't be good -- but boy, do I love it.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love junk food and in particular, pizza . So when I heard about Domino's Pizza doing a pizza-by-text service I was very keen to try it out.

To use the service you have to register online, which includes putting in your credit card details, mobile phone number and creating a meal. You select which pizza and extras you want online and then create a codename for the meal.

I selected coleslaw, potato wedges, a large pizza and a bottle of Coke (I know it's a lot of food but it wasn't all for me), then created a codename for that meal. Interestingly, you can't include the word 'pizza' in your codename, it has to be something like 'xtrahungry22'.

You have to register online first before you can text Domino's Pizza

Once you've picked a codename you can either create more meals or log off. This is where the mobile phone bit comes in: all you have to do after you've registered your details and meals is text your codename to the special number.

Once Domino's receives the text message, you get a confirmation message to make sure that you definitely want to order a pizza and then that's it -- next stop, pizza heaven.

Food by text is great but it has made me lazier than ever. I don't even have to get out of a chair or speak to anyone to order my pizzas now. This can't be good -- but boy do I love it.
