Buzz Out Loud 635: Peace comes to CES

It's only the first day of CES, and it's already bringing peace on (consumer electronics) Earth.

The war...is...over! (We think) Warner announced it's going over to the Blu-ray side, meaning HD DVD has an almost impossible road if it wants even a stalemate in the high-def DVD war. And Sony's going DRM-free, or so the pundits say, joining Amazon's music store after the Super Bowl. Peace in our time! And we're at CES, so the gadget news is going to be flooding in! Stay with us all week and we'll keep you in the know.
