AT&T adds $99 Samsung Ativ S Neo Windows phone

Starting November 8, AT&T customers will be able to pick up the midrange Windows 8 phone either on-contract or through Next pricing.

It's been a long time since AT&T and Samsung paired up on a Windows phone, but that dry spell ends with the introduction of the Samsung Ativ S Neo on November 8.

Selling for $99 on contract, or $21 per month with AT&T Next, the S Neo is a midrange device that combines a 4.7-inch HD display with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p HD video.

The handset also comes equipped with a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of onboard memory, and a microSD slot that can take up to 64GB of external storage. AT&T also throws in an extra 5GB of free online storage with its AT&T Locker service. The S Neo also comes with NFC and Ativ Beam, both which transfer files from one NFC-compatible phone to another.
