Doubtless it hasn't escaped Apple's notice that the announcement takes place on the same day as a similar event held by Nokia in Abu Dhabi. Nokia is expected to unveil a new Lumia line-up,. Oh, and it's the same day the new hit shops.
That said, Nokia reveals its new kit at 8am on Tuesday 22 October, while Apple's San Francisco event kicks off at 6pm.
