Andrew Lim: Star of CCTV
Little did we know we would be picked up on CCTV apparently doing something dodgy -- the next thing we know, we're surrounded by coppers
Last Friday I ventured out into the real world with Rory Reid and a few other friends. Little did we know that night we would be picked up on CCTV apparently doing something dodgy. The next thing we know, we're surrounded by coppers.
All we did was pass each other some change after getting out of a taxi and apparently that looked suspicious. I wasn't altogether bothered, especially since we were in the middle of town and there had been some sort of commotion in the area before we arrived.
What did surprise me however, is that on searching my bag I was asked, "Why are you carrying a torch and where did you get your mobile phone from?" Now I'm sure that in some contexts those two objects could be dangerous, but don't lots of people carry stuff like that about?
