The latest hip-hop beef has spilled into the world of technology. Rappers 50 Cent and Ludacris have traded caps for cans and squared up in a war of headphones.

50 Cent said "Ayo Technology" at CES 2011, unveiling Sleek by 50 Cent. The wireless headphones from Sleek Audio feature built-in track, volume and EDS bass-boost buttons on the earpieces, and offer up to 10 hours rechargeable battery life.

If you want to roll with your entourage, up to four people can listen wirelessly to the same source -- which could be the world's smallest silent disco, although we doubt Fiddy goes in for that sort of thing.

Dirty South rhymer Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges also has his own crunk cans, made by Signeo. The Soul line comprises SL300 noise-canceling headphones, SL150 and SL100 normal headphones, and SE99 and SE49 in-ear earbuds.

The bonce-bubble beef has gone beyond Fiddy and Luda, however. Monster makes Heartbeat headphones for meat-mannequin disco stick Lady Gaga , Beats by Dre for Dr Dre , the man who puts the G in GP, and Diddybeats for Ken Dodd -- sorry, P Diddy.

Jay-Z has 99 problems but ear-itch ain't one, thanks to his SkullCandy Roc Nation Aviator headphones. Even reggae legend Bob Marley has the House of Marley range of audio accessories, and he doesn't even know what an iPod is.

Dre and Ludacris have something in common -- they've both worked with the musical powerhouse behind Justbeats : Justin Bieber.

Sleek by 50 Cent drop in the second half of the year for $350 (£225) in the US. Soul by Ludacris have yet to be priced. Which musical artist would you like to wrap around your head? We're holding out for the Suzi Quattro Can the Cans.
