Best 27-inch monitors of 2014

Updated

The best thing to happen to 27-inch monitors was their support for a 2,560x1,440-pixel (WQHD) resolution. Previous to early 2010, 27-inchers were capped at 1,920x1,200 inches, with many recent offerings peaking at 1,920x1,080 inches to support the 16:9 aspect ratio. Still, not all 27-inchers support that very high WQHD resolution, but it's probably not a coincidence that the ones that do score high on this list.
