Reviewed on June 15, 2009We like the simplicity of the HP Officejet 6000 single-function inkjet printer. The print quality meets HP's high standards, and it outputs full color photos at an impressive rate, but its lack of an LCD screen takes some getting used to. Nevertheless, the HP Officjet 6000 performed well and earns our recommendation as a great single-function printer.TAGS:HP OfficeJet, tray, cartridge, printer, media card reader, multifunction printer, HP, LCD screen, light-emitting diode, LCD, Canon Inc., USB, photograph
Reviewed on January 6, 2008Epson's Stylus Pro R1900 13-inch-wide photo printer is great for scrapbookers who want to print with pigment ink, or advanced photographers who want to print large, but can't justify the expense of a pro-level printer.TAGS:Epson, printer, cartridge, print, transition, printing
Reviewed on June 4, 2008The C8180 multifunctional printer is an excellent choice for photo enthusiasts. It prints high-quality text and photos at a heavy price: the printer is s...l...o...w. If you always choose quality over speed, the c8180 will be a worthwhile addition to your digital toolshed.TAGS:cartridge, tray, All-in-One, printer, touch screen, memory card, Wi-Fi, HP Photosmart, fax, HP, Bluetooth, scanner, photograph
Reviewed on April 22, 2008It isn't cheap compared to standard printers, but the Canon Pixma iP100 has the highest resolution available in the mobile printer market and prints at an impressive speed to boot. If you simply must have a printer with you at all times, the iP100 should be the do-it-all at your side.TAGS:Canon Pixma, Canon Inc., PictBridge, cartridge, profile, printer, HP, Wi-Fi, USB, photograph
Reviewed on September 30, 2008The Dell V305w is cosmetically appealing and inexpensive, but the output quality needs significant improvement, and the cost to maintain the printer is much higher than the industry standard. We recommend checking out the competition for a printer that will give you longer-lasting inks, cheaper replacement cartridges, and more acceptable photo-quality prints.TAGS:cartridge, printer, photocopier, Dell, scanner, printing, photograph
Reviewed on May 11, 2009The Canon Pixma MP980 multifunction printer, copier, and scanner are a step up from its predecessor, but the print quality isn't up to standard and it doesn't perform as quickly as the competition. The HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-one is a less expensive alternative that adds value with a fax machine and faster, higher quality output.TAGS:Canon Pixma, tray, cartridge, Canon Inc., wheel, fax, rest, control panel, photograph, button, printer, menu, LCD, HP
Reviewed on August 23, 2007Our quibbles with the Brother MFC-9440CN pale in comparison to the many things we like about it, chiefly its sublime combination of fast speeds with high-quality output. It's currently our favorite recommendation for a small office environment.TAGS:Brother, cartridge, tray, small office, fax, PictBridge, printer, button, office, control panel, scanner, printing
Reviewed on April 4, 2008HP markets the Officejet H470wbt to the mobile business professional, but it chose aesthetics over performance. The sleek design and cost-effective cartridges give its rating a slight boost, but the degradation of print quality from the previous model is definitely a deal breaker.TAGS:HP OfficeJet, cartridge, print, printer, port, HP, photograph, battery

Reviewed on August 2, 2006The HP Deskjet 6940 isn't a top-of-the-line inkjet, but with its affordable price, networkability, and decent print quality, it's a good choice for students in a dorm room and budget-conscious home office users.TAGS:tray, cartridge, printing, Canon Pixma, cover, photograph, printer, HP, USB port, Canon Inc., camera
