Reviewed on August 11, 2008Apple's smaller-scale iMac remains our favorite all-in-one. And while its looks, its ease of use, and its performance are all selling points, Windows PCs are starting to catch up (at least with the latter). A few components could also stand an update, but in general you'll find the 20-inch iMac a remarkable computer for its price.TAGS:Apple iMac, Averatec, Apple Computer, Intel Core 2 Duo, Gateway Inc., HP, Microsoft Windows
Reviewed on September 11, 2006Other vendors might offer more flexible configurations and better deals on components, and the specter of HD video looms darkly, but the 24-inch iMac's sprawling display and convincingly capable features should set most people's minds at ease. We highly recommend this new iMac as a PC that doubles as a secondary home-entertainment system.TAGS:Apple iMac, Intel Core 2 Duo, Apple Computer, Dell XPS, graphics chip, vendor, LCD, PC, hard drive
