Reviewed on June 17, 2009The iPhone 3GS doesn't make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.TAGS:Apple iPhone 3G, Apple iPhone 3G S, Apple iPhone, 3G, multimedia messaging, AT&T Corp., app, Apple Computer, owner, multimedia, cell phone, camera
Reviewed on October 21, 2009Apple's new 27-inch iMac will charm plenty of you with its screen size alone. Fortunately, that won't lead you astray. Behind its expansive display, Apple has packed one of the fastest all-in-ones available, and added a few useful extras to sweeten the deal. This iMac isn't perfect, but its positives far outweigh its negatives. We can think of few users to whom we wouldn't recommend this system.TAGS:Apple iMac, Apple MacBook, Apple Computer, Apple MacBook Pro, display, Intel Core 2 Duo, light-emitting diode, SD card, laptop computer
Reviewed on October 21, 2009Apple's new wireless Magic Mouse gets a sleek makeover and even has multitouch controls, but it's better as a portable laptop companion rather than a full-size desktop accessory. Reviewed on October 22, 2009Apple's latest version of the popular $999 white MacBook gets an upscale makeover, while keeping the price the same. It's a strong alternative to the more expensive Pro line, if you can live without extras such as an SD card slot.TAGS:Apple MacBook, Apple MacBook Pro, Apple Computer, SD card, battery, mouse, NVidia, laptop computer
Reviewed on July 11, 2008The iPhone 3G delivers on its promises by adding critical features and sharper call quality. The iTunes App Store is pretty amazing, and the 3G support is more than welcome. Critical features still are missing, and the battery depletes quickly under heavy use, but the iPhone 3G is a big improvement over the original model.TAGS:Apple iPhone 3G, 3G, Apple iPhone, AT&T Corp., Microsoft Exchange Server, Apple Computer, coverage, handset, server
