Reviewed on April 20, 2010HP's new Pavilion All-in-One 200-5020 might not be the most innovative PC around, but it has the performance and features where it counts. Unless you demand a touch screen, or you have some other niche demand, this PC will satisfy all of your light-duty home entertainment and productivity needs.TAGS:Acer Aspire, HP Pavilion, Acer Inc., Lenovo, IEEE 802.11n, HP, Intel Pentium, dual-core, CPU, Intel, entertainment, 64-bit, PC
Reviewed on June 29, 2010On first inspection the HP TouchSmart 300-1120 seems like a capable enough all-in-one, but it loses a lot of appeal once you compare it with others on the market. If you want an all-in-one PC for the kitchen counter, this system may work for you. For general computing or home entertainment needs, you can find several other all-in-ones with better features for the price.TAGS:HP TouchSmart, Gateway Inc., Acer Aspire, HP, Gigabit Ethernet, 64-bit, Acer Inc., Windows 7, Ethernet, hard drive, PC, laptop computer, Microsoft Windows
Reviewed on July 26, 2010Its newly designed tower, HDMI port, and generous hard-drive capacity aren't enough to make the Asus Essentio CM5671-05 stand out next to the HP Pavilion p6510y, a similarly priced system with a faster quad-core processor and built-in Wi-Fi. The Asus system is no slouch, and we recommend it to shoppers who are concerned with storage capacity rather than speed, but even amateur media editors will benefit from the HP p6510y's extra speed.TAGS:chassis, ASUS, HP Pavilion SlimLine, HP Pavilion, graphics chip, Ethernet LAN, Gateway Inc., optical drive, HP, 64-bit, LAN, Ethernet, AMD
Reviewed on March 11, 2010A midtower PC with a Blu-ray drive isn't for everyone, especially if that option requires you to make sacrifices elsewhere. Fortunately, HP's Pavilion Elite HPE-112y strikes the right balance between its features and performance, such that the niche customers interested in a desktop with Blu-ray won't feel like they're giving up too much.TAGS:HP Pavilion Elite, Blu-ray drive, HP Pavilion, Blu-ray, burner, HP, Dell Inspiron, 64-bit, video card, Dell, networking, AMD, hard drive
Reviewed on April 7, 2010Don't let the Gateway FX6831-01's case distract you from the fact that this is a fast, aggressively priced gaming PC with some standout features. We wouldn't recommend this system to a generalist consumer or those with discriminating opinions about hardware aesthetics, but for the pennywise gamer, this Gateway is the midrange desktop to beat.TAGS:Gateway Inc., tray, wireless networking, Dell, networking, Radeon, 64-bit, design, games, video card, hard drive, PC, HP, operating system
