We were very impressed with the 2008 Land Rover LR2, which combines solid cabin gadgetry with a luxury interior. And all this comfort rides on Land Rover's legendary off-road platform. At its price, it's a great value.

As a safe luxury cruiser, the 2007 Volvo S80 does all right. Its cleanly designed cabin has a nice feel, but this is no sports car, even when outfitted with the Sports package.

While the 2008 Ford Mustang Convertible looks and feels good, it doesn't have much performance to back it up. Its cabin tech gets the job done, but only offers a couple of advanced features.

Not the most practical car, the 2006 Volvo C70 looks very stylish with the top down or up, and its audio system is among the best we've heard. The navigation system isn't a very worthwhile option, since it usually can't be seen because of glare, and this car is not for the driving enthusiast.
