Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607 (AT&T)
Reviewed on November 13, 2006
The Samsung BlackJack heralds another 3G-enabled smart phone to Cingular's lineup. While it supports the carrier's video and music service, some design and performance issues trip up this otherwise sexy device.

As the successor to the BlackJack series, the Samsung Jack brings a fresh look and some nice feature upgrades to make it one of AT&T's more solid and affordable messaging smartphones. However, we tend to favor the Nokia E71x's design.

Motorola Q9m (Verizon Wireless)
Reviewed on August 22, 2007
The Motorola Q9m brings some nice design and operating system upgrades as well as a more consumer-focused experience with enhanced multimedia capabilities. However, behind all the sexy packaging, the smart phone still feels underpowered. Business users should look elsewhere for a smart phone.

The Motorola Q for Sprint sports a revamped design and some carrier specific content, but there are no revolutionary upgrades here. Still, the sleek design and Sprint's reasonably priced data plan make it an attractive option.
