The 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 is an excellent car for cruising around and listening to music, but it doesn't offer all the latest cabin tech, and some of its veneer of luxury wears thin when exposed to close scrutiny.

The 2008 BMW 535i is a really exceptional car, offering a great driving experience and an impressive array of electronics in the cabin. From its shifter to its live traffic system, its innovative features should make any techie drool.

Although it's an SUV, the 2007 BMW X5 is for people who appreciate performance. Everything about the car is rock solid, from its cabin tech to its handling, and we would feel as comfortable driving it on windy mountain roads as we would over icy terrain.

The 2009 Toyota Venza AWD V-6 combines aspects of a large sedan and an SUV on the outside, while combining an excellent cabin tech package with a high-quality interior on the inside.

The 2008 Subaru Legacy 3.0 R Limited makes for a good car in a variety of driving conditions, but its cabin tech tops out at a decent navigation system, with only a passable stereo.

With its fantastic performance, the 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet works best as a track car or a weekend cruiser on mountain roads with the top down. Its mediocre cabin electronics reduce its comfort and convenience for everyday driving.

The 2008 Buick Enclave is a little too bulky for our tastes, and we weren't terribly impressed with the driving experience. But the navigation and entertainment module is worth the price of the option.

The design of the 2008 BMW X6 might be polarizing, although we have yet to meet someone who loves it, and it will take that kind of love to fork over the money for one. Although it has excellent cabin electronics and superior handling, it is far from a practical car.

The 2007 Honda Element SC doesn't have enough cabin gadgets to be considered a tech car, but it is very practical. It takes little skill to drive, and it can hold a lot of gear.
