Reviewed on October 19, 2009The NEC MultiSync P221W has some of the most accurate colors we've seen, but it is light on features.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., NEC Corp., monitor, Dell
Reviewed on October 17, 2007Dell's UltraSharp 2407WFP-HC widescreen monitor gives you tons of input flexibility, strong moving image quality, and a handful of other features that will endear you to it as a digital entertainment display. It's not as strong as we'd like with static images, however, making this display not as well suited to demanding image and graphics professionals.TAGS:Dell UltraSharp, NEC Electronics Corp., Dell, display, degree, slot, speakers, monitor, multimedia, Gateway Inc., HDMI, LCD, video, Apple Computer, games
Reviewed on October 9, 2007NEC's MultiSync LCD2470WNX has a higher-than-average price compared to other 24-inch displays, and we just don't see enough of a benefit in image quality to justify the added expense. Features like HDCP-compliance and an amazingly adjustable stand help it keep up with the competition, but for the price, this display needs to do more.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., NEC Corp., display, LCD, training, monitor, speakers
Reviewed on July 31, 2007We're not overly impressed with NEC's LCD193WXM monitor. The 19-inch wide-screen LCD has strong enough image quality for the price, but NEC seems to equate utilitarianism with missing features. We wouldn't expect a $200 19-inch screen to bowl anyone over, but competing displays seem to try harder.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., NEC Corp., display, LCD, monitor, button, Samsung Electronics, Dell, HP
Reviewed on March 23, 2004The Princeton LCD19D is inexpensive for a 19-inch LCD, but you get what you pay for: very poor image quality. We can't recommend it.TAGS:contrast, monitor, NEC Electronics Corp., color, LCD, picture
Reviewed on April 12, 2004NEC's MultiSync LCD1960NXi is surprisingly good with video, but there are other less expensive 19-inch LCDs that offer superior overall image quality.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., NEC Corp., LCD, monitor, DVD, games
Reviewed on August 27, 2007Even if you don't care that ViewSonic's VG2030wm lacks HD DVD or Blu-ray support, we can't give this LCD monitor a strong recommendation simply because there are too many better, more capable displays on the market for the same price. Its image quality is fine, but that's not enough.TAGS:ViewSonic Corp., LCD monitor, NEC Electronics Corp., LCD, display, monitor, HD-DVD, Blu-ray, HP, games
Reviewed on October 19, 2005Though the NEC MultiSync LCD2180WGLED features new LED backlight technology, we're unconvinced it's worth $6,700. Most professional users will be better served by other, less expensive LCDs.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., NEC Corp., color, light-emitting diode, CRT, warranty, monitor, LCD
Reviewed on October 27, 2005Though CRTs are moving toward obsolescence, the NEC MultiSync FE992 offers good performance and a lot of screen real estate for a low price.TAGS:NEC Electronics Corp., CRT, NEC Corp., LCD, monitor
