Stylish, easy to use, and accurate, the TomTom XL 330S is a great all-around GPS but we wish it was just a little cheaper.

The 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited is a well-equipped crossover with some advanced cabin technology and a smooth power train. Aside from some questionable cabin materials, the Highlander is a worthy contender in a competitive segment.

The 2008 Subaru Legacy 3.0 R Limited makes for a good car in a variety of driving conditions, but its cabin tech tops out at a decent navigation system, with only a passable stereo.

The 2009 Toyota Corolla is your classic commuter, good on fuel economy and reasonably comfortable. But its cabin tech isn't particularly impressive and doesn't go out of its way to work with personal electronics.

Although we aren't crazy about the exterior of the 2007 Chevrolet HHR, we give it credit for making a strong statement. The car is meant for cruising, not for speed, and although it has a full range of tech gear, we don't find OnStar as convenient as onboard systems.

The 2008 Buick Enclave is a little too bulky for our tastes, and we weren't terribly impressed with the driving experience. But the navigation and entertainment module is worth the price of the option.
