Though the setup is a bit messy, the Garmin Mobile 20 is a nice alternative for smart phone owners who need navigation help but don't want to buy a standalone GPS device.

Fans of Dale Earnhardt Jr. will enjoy hearing the Nascar star direct their trips, but after the novelty wears off, the Rightway Spotter, Dale Jr. Edition just doesn't stack up to the competition.

As an entry-level GPS device, the Jensen NVX225 offers all the basics at an affordable price tag, but you can get a better user experience and more from the Mio C230 or Garmin Nuvi 200.
