Reviewed on July 21, 2009The Epson Stylus NX515 is a capable machine that will improve the efficiency of any office or work-at-home setup. Not only is it a lightning-fast all-in-one, but it also has a broader range of features than most other $150 AIOs. As long as you don't need a full creative software suite, the Epson Stylus NX515 will make a dependable sidekick to your computer.TAGS:Epson, tray, printer, control panel, button, USB 2.0, memory card, printing, Wi-Fi, connection, USB
Reviewed on May 19, 2009The HP Photosmart C6380 is a good fit for beginning photographers who want more than just a simple printer. Its six-ink cartridge bay, and scanning and copying capabilities extend its versatility, and while the output quality suffers a few missteps, the C6380 remains a worthwhile deal for the money.TAGS:fax machine, printer, fax, HP Photosmart, paper, corner, control panel, photograph, HP, printing
Reviewed on August 23, 2007Our quibbles with the Brother MFC-9440CN pale in comparison to the many things we like about it, chiefly its sublime combination of fast speeds with high-quality output. It's currently our favorite recommendation for a small office environment.TAGS:Brother, small office, tray, cartridge, fax, PictBridge, printer, office, button, scanner, control panel, printing
Reviewed on July 15, 2008The Brother MFC-7440N prints quickly and is fairly inexpensive to sustain, but we simply can't get behind a printer with poor quality graphics, significant hardware defects, and a boring design.TAGS:Brother, laser printer, fax, laser, tray, printer, photocopier, printing, LCD, memory, control panel
Reviewed on August 9, 2006The HP F380 is for users who need to print, scan, or copy only occasionally and who still prefer to develop print photos in retail stores. You'll get more features and comparable performance from other budget all-in-ones, such as the Epson Stylus CX4800 or the Lexmark X3350.TAGS:tray, tank, PictBridge, printing, printer, scanner, photograph, HP, control panel
Reviewed on July 22, 2009We've tested plenty of printers at CNET, but very few have frustrated us as much as the Brother DCP-165C multifunction has. The counterintuitive setup, bland design, deplorable print quality, and crawling output speeds earns this printer a double thumbs down. Spend $30 more and you can get the Canon Pixma MX330, an all-in-one printer that adds a fax machine on top of the copy, scan, and print features.TAGS:Brother, printer, control panel, printing, Canon Inc., LCD, photograph, USB
