The HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One printer makes it easy to increase productivity thanks to its streamlined user interface. The fax, copy, print, and scanning features boast helpful extras like double-sided printing, wireless connectivity, separate photo trays, and quick-access control panel buttons, all while maintaining lab-quality photos and a low cost to print. We highly recommend this printer to anyone who can benefit from its multifunctionality.

The HP Officejet J4680 offers more features at a cheaper price than most of its competitors, and small offices and home professionals will appreciate its print quality as well. Unfortunately, its negatives far outweigh the positives: your office productivity will take a major hit because of sluggish output speeds and faulty paper handling. For a better rounded all-in-one printer, we recommend picking up the Lexmark x7675 Pro or investing an extra $90 in the HP Officejet J6480.

HP tries to offer the most basic users an inexpensive all-in-one with the Photosmart C4280 multifunction printer, but we find that for roughly the same price, you can get an all-in-one with more compelling features and better print quality.

The HP Photosmart C6180 all-in-one tries to be everything to everyone, and ultimately it fails to meet this lofty goal. It's a good printer at a decent price, however, for the home user who wants to consolidate all tasks into one machine.

The low price of the HP Officejet J5780 makes up for some drawbacks, including slow print speeds and lackluster text prints. We recommend spending a little more for the competition from Canon.

The HP F380 is for users who need to print, scan, or copy only occasionally and who still prefer to develop print photos in retail stores. You'll get more features and comparable performance from other budget all-in-ones, such as the Epson Stylus CX4800 or the Lexmark X3350.

Although it's expensive, the Canon Pixma MP810 is a great photo-centric all-in-one for discerning photo hobbyists and home users who want both excellent print quality and fast prints. You can get a photo all-in-one for less money if you don't need the fast print speeds.
