As long as you don't need seriously high-resolution photos, video capture, or machine-gun-fast sports shooting, the Nikon D700 has everything you need in a pro full-frame camera for a reasonable price.

As a relatively inexpensive DVD camcorder with solid, though not remarkable, performance, the Panasonic VDR-D210 is a decent choice for video snapshooters.

The 2007 Mazda MX-5 PRHT drives well and looks great. It doesn't come with much cabin gadgetry, and what is there disappoints, but its customer base is more likely to value RPMs over MP3s.
