Reviewed on October 28, 2010 If you're shopping for a sub-$100 multifunction printer for intermittent use in your home, the Canon Pixma MP495 will meet your needs. It prints, scans, and copies documents, and the integrated wireless print server means you won't have a bundle of cables tangling up the office. We have a few flaws to nitpick, but otherwise Canon scores with the Pixma MP495. Reviewed on May 25, 2009 The Canon Pixma MX330 doesn't produce the best quality prints, but you won't find a more versatile printer in the sub-$150 category. An auto-document feeder, 1.8-inch LCD screen, and easy-to-use features make it an excellent choice for creative homes on a budget. Reviewed on December 1, 2010 Canon's Pixma iP4820 single-function photo printer produces presentation-quality photos and documents, but the competition offers scan and fax functionality, not to mention extras like Wi-Fi and printing from a USB flash drive, for the same price. We recommend the Epson WorkForce 520 or even the Canon Pixma MP495 instead. Reviewed on November 6, 2008 The Epson Artisan 800 produces impressive color prints, photos, and text documents, and it outpaces the competition in almost all of our speed tests. We're impressed by its performance, but hesitate to recommend this printer based on the poor build quality and error-prone software. Reviewed on May 24, 2007 HP tries to offer the most basic users an inexpensive all-in-one with the Photosmart C4280 multifunction printer, but we find that for roughly the same price, you can get an all-in-one with more compelling features and better print quality.
