We found the 2007 BMW 328xi more at home driving twisty mountain roads than mall parking lots. Its interior quality may tempt drivers looking for a luxury ride, but only sport drivers should consider this car.

The 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 is an excellent car for cruising around and listening to music, but it doesn't offer all the latest cabin tech, and some of its veneer of luxury wears thin when exposed to close scrutiny.

If you want and can afford an Aston Martin DB9, you will probably get one, no matter what anyone else says. But it's nice to know that the cabin electronics are modern enough for cell phones and iPods.

Audi has some fine cabin tech waiting in the wings, but it's not available on the 2009 Audi A3. Still, the car offers an excellent driving experience and the practical configuration of a small wagon.

We were very impressed with the 2008 Land Rover LR2, which combines solid cabin gadgetry with a luxury interior. And all this comfort rides on Land Rover's legendary off-road platform. At its price, it's a great value.

The 2007 Chrysler Town & Country does what minivans are supposed to do--carry people and cargo from point A to point B--but it's unlikely the driver will enjoy the trip, as the car's cabin gadgets are merely functional.

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML320 CDI is a very drivable car, but you'll pay dearly to option it up with cabin electronics, should you live in a state where you can buy it. We're impressed by the off-road equipment, but who would really take this car into the mud?

The 2008 Honda Fit Sport looks good, but falls short of its potential. We want really good mileage and low emissions in exchange for a low-power engine, but the Fit doesn't deliver, and it has no interesting cabin tech.
