The Belkin N+ Wireless Router is a great performer with excellent range and throughput speed. If its bulky design and lack of 5GHz frequency support don't put you off, the router is worth every penny of its $100 or so price tag.

If you don't need extended range from a router, the Linksys WRT54GX2 is a good choice if you want to take advantage of MIMO technology but can't afford the hefty price. Still, Belkin offers a better performer that costs less.

Though inconsistent, the D-Link N 650 router performed admirably overall compared to its Draft N competition. Still, we are unimpressed with how it measures up to the promise of 802.11n. Pass on this for now; in fact, pass on all Draft N routers until the spec is finalized.

If you have to have the fastest short-range router immediately, the WRT54GX4 is a good choice. But if you need a good long-range or mixed-mode performer, you're better off looking at the Belkin Pre-N router (the long-range champ).
