Reviewed on November 17, 2009Despite its good looks and a few useful new features, Apple's new iMac is all about business. You can find a larger screen for less, not to mention all kinds of digital entertainment features, but no other all-in-one at this price can boast similar performance. If you need a modestly priced all-in-one for getting work done, we'd recommend no other system.TAGS:Apple iMac, Apple Computer, Intel Core 2 Duo, IEEE 802.11n, Acer Inc., Nvidia GeForce, Windows 7, Gateway Inc., NVidia, Intel, Microsoft Windows
Reviewed on June 18, 2009For the price, it's hard to find fault with Acer's even cheaper version of the 10.1-inch Aspire One, as long as you're not expecting top-of-the-line features.TAGS:Netbook, Acer Aspire One, Acer Inc., Acer Aspire, keyboard, battery

Reviewed on August 25, 2009Acer's Aspire M5800-U5802A could use some visual polish, but get past its appearance and you'll find a fast, affordable computer that will handle any task you care to throw at it. It's even a decent low-end gaming box. We'd only recommend against this desktop if you demand a computer's appearance match its capabilities.TAGS:Acer Aspire, HP Pavilion Elite, Acer Inc., cover, Gateway Inc., HP Pavilion, 64-bit, ASUS, NVidia, Intel, HP
Reviewed on August 20, 2009Swelling the ranks of 11.6-inch Netbooks, the Asus Eee PC 1101HA impresses with its design and battery, but having to overclock a slower version of Intel's Atom CPU is a dodgy workaround.TAGS:Netbook, ASUS, overclocking, Intel, Acer Inc., CPU, BIOS
Reviewed on September 12, 2007We wouldn't pay more than $200 or so for any 19-inch LCD, but if you need a smaller screen and can find Acer's p191w for that price, we'd recommend it. It's a basic display with no speakers or HDCP-support, but its image quality and sleek design make up for any lacking secondary features.TAGS:Acer Inc., NEC Electronics Corp., display, degree, LCD, speakers, HP
