T-Mobile to ship Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus on Nov. 16
Samsung's new tablet will be available through the carrier next week for $250 after rebate with two-year contract.
T-Mobile has announced the addition of the new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to its portfolio of 4G-enabled tablets.
Samsung's new tablet computer, an upgrade to its first 7-inch Galaxy Tab, which hit the market about a year ago, features a 7-inch multitouch display and packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that supports up to an additional 32GB memory.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus weighs about three quarters of a pound and will be available for purchase on November 16 for $250 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract. However, Amazon is already selling Samsung's new tablet with one-day shipping, albeit for $399.
The Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet comes with the Samsung Media Hub for movie and TV show rentals, as well as WildTangent, which allows customers to rent or purchase games.
The Tab 7 joins recently announced T-Mobile SpringBoard (see CNET review here) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, as well as the T-Mobile G-Slate.
