Short Take: PSINet taps Opet for CNS unit

PSINet, one of the largest independent commercial Internet service providers, announced that it has tapped William Opet as the president of PSINet's corporate network services (CNS). Opet will report to Harold Wills, executive vice president and COO. CNS, the largest of PSINet's three U.S. operating units, primarily provides the dial-up and dedicated Internet needs of businesses. Opet will oversee the sales, marketing, and product development-management activities for CNS.
