Short Take: NorthPoint, Focal team for VoDSL

NorthPoint Communications and Focal Communications have agreed on a partnership to develop voice-over-DSL (VoDSL) services. NorthPoint currently offers DSL, short for digital subscriber lines, to deliver data at high speeds. The two companies will begin voice-over-DSL trials during the fourth quarter of 1999.
