Office supplies as fingernail art? This tutorial nails it
This viral video shows you how to use Liquid Paper, Sharpie pens, scented markers and glitter glue for something more artistic than school and office work. If you're into that sort of thing.
Admit it. At least once, you might have been tempted to paint your fingernails with Wite-out or Liquid Paper just to see how they might look.
After all, fingernails are a great canvas for geeky experiments like transforming hands into RFID chip commuter cards or smartphone detectors. Some crafty folks have even turned their fingernails into an elaborate Candy Crush game tribute or used a 3D printer to create unusual nail art designs.
YouTube channel Simply Nailogical decided to use cheap office and school supplies in a step-by-step instruction video tutorial "Back to School Nails" posted on Tuesday.
The video, which already has over 1.1 million views, shows Simply Nailogical host Christine shopping at Staples for office and school supplies like highlighters, gel pens, scented markers, glitter glue and Sharpie pens to try out in various styles of nail art.
She then explains how easy it is to paint fingernails with white correction fluid and acrylic paints as a base and then add details using Sharpies and scented pens. The tutorial reveals how much fun it is to use various cheap art supplies to recreate creative nail art styles.
