Apple with BlackBerry on top?
How do I sync my BlackBerry phone with my Apple PowerBook?
RIM's BlackBerry Desktop Software will not run under Apple's Mac operating system -- even if you use a Windows emulator.
However, software developer Information Appliance Associates has developed PocketMac for BlackBerry, which allows Mac users to synchronise data, such as contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with their BlackBerry device.
PocketMac supports BlackBerry connections via USB and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher to run. A demo version can be downloaded from Apple's Web site. The full version costs US$29.95 (~AU$40) and is available here.
According to PocketMac's Web site, the software supports all the RIM-manufactured BlackBerry devices that are available in Australia: 7230, 7730 and 7100v.
