Want a free netbook with wireless broadband? Orange has two new models available on pay-monthly plans: the HP Compaq Mini 700 and the Toshiba L300

Want a free netbook with wireless broadband? Orange has two new laptops available on pay monthly plans: the HP Compaq Mini 700 for £30 a month, and the Toshiba L300 for £35 a month. Both include wireless broadband and 3GB of data allowance per month.

You'll need to sign up for a 24-month contract for either model (the Asus Eee 901 model is still on offer), but you'll get the laptop and a wireless broadband dongle included, meaning you can use the Internet as easily in the car, caravan or outside toilet as at your desk.

The Toshiba L300 -- which we reviewed last August -- is a 15.4-inch desktop replacement powered by a 1.73GHz Intel CPU, with a widescreen display, 160GB hard disk and DVD drive. The HP Mini 700 is a netbook with a 10-inch display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 60GB hard disk.

Orange tells us both models are in its stores from today, though they're yet to appear for sale on the Orange Web site.
