Five reasons to update your Windows PC now
SANS Internet Storm Center has posted a list of known exploits to June's long list of Microsoft patches. Yesterday, Microsoft issued 12 patches, 8 of which the software giant considered critical. The 8 critical patches fix 21 individual flaws within Windows and Office products. Below is a list of exploits that take advantage of some of these flaws. The existence of an exploit can be a precursor to a virus or worm attack, though not always. It's far better to be safe than sorry. All Microsoft security patches for Windows and Office software are available via Microsoft Update.
