<b>List View "dancing icons" problem fixed - at least for NT servers
Apple's Leland Wallace informed me that: "The folks at Microsoft have fixed the dancing icons List view problem. There are two "hot-fixes" (Jump_A.zip and Jump_86.zip). They are not on the Microsoft website. Customers must call and request the updates. All of MS support groups have been notified so customers shouldn't have a problem getting a hold of the update."
Meanwhile, Richard Holdman appears to have posted these updates (although they have different names) on his web site.
Update: According to Mark Lindsay, the fix only works for NT 4.0.
Others have reported a similar problem on non-NT servers. The Microsoft fix is not likely to apply in these cases.
Update: Netatalk patches address the problems with Linex/Unix servers, (thanks Stephen Brock). According to MacInTouch, "Eddie Bowers created an unofficial Windows NT server patch (see <www.macwindows.com> for more details)."
