Apple offers new notebook spec sheets

Apple has posted technical specification sheets for both the new PowerBook G4 running at 867 MHz-1 Ghz, and the new iBook running at 700-800 Mhz. It appears Apple has chosen the nomenclatures "Opaque 16 VRAM" and "32 VRAM" as identifiers for the new iBooks:

Of note is that the Titanium Power Book G4's slot-load SuperDrive burns DVDs at a 1X rate, rather than 2X like Apple's most recent desktop SuperDrives.

Also, the Opaque 16 VRAM iBooks (like their predecessors) may indicate battery charge levels as being more than 100 percent, sometimes up to 106 percent, for a short period of time.
