"Snob apeal and not much more"
Pros: Makes lawyers feel better about low social skils
Cons: expensive and unreliable
Summary: I have never met a BMW owner who does not have(had) expensive repair problems constantly. Did you know the battery in this vehicle is $500 and you can't use any other one because it has a BMW programed chip in it?
The X3 is underpowered and noisy. You can get a Ford Edge for $15,000 less, have more power, more room better fuel economy and a vista roof that blows this Beamer away. But what would your snobby friends from prep school say -- who cares dump them and get a life.

An SUV for wannabees with more debt than brains. The Acura RDX runs circles around the X3.

These reviews were not designed to give a personal opinion on a certain vehicle but rather to recommend the vehicle as an owner of the vehicle. If you are not an owner of the vehicle, why bother expressing an uninformed opinion on the vehicle?
