Asteroid 2012 EG5 will get within 143,000 miles of the planet Sunday morning -- that's a little more than half the distance to the moon. But NASA says not to worry.
The aircraft carrier-sized 2005 YU55 asteroid will be only some 200,000 miles from Earth when it passes by. That's closer than the moon.
Never mind the recent spate of satellite showers; an asteroid the size of an aircraft carrier is sailing toward Earth, NASA says. But don't run for the hills just yet.
